The French composer Claude Debussy said, "Music is the space between the notes." Format 2 places the audience in physical, visual and literal representations of this space. Circles and spheres function as a notation for an iPhone app, triggering a composition that among other ambient sounds is created with samples of sonifications of light, plasma, and electromagnetic energy recorded with NASA's Cassini spacecraft
